The Pre-wedding Shoot for engaged couples at their wedding venue

Pre-wedding shoots are complimentary and standard in our wedding packages and can be purchased a la carte for couples using our bespoke service or indeed by couples who have not yet selected a wedding photographer.

For our own couples we normally schedule the session anytime between confirmation of booking and 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding itself. The session lasts about 45 minutes on average and takes place at the venue you plan to have the majority of your photographs taken, which is usually the reception venue.

The pre-wedding shoot give us an opportunity to work with you before the big day, to see how you photograph and for you to get used to having a camera pointed at you. You'll get to feel comfortable in some of the classical poses which will make your groups look natural and faster to photograph and we will be able to select parts of the venue you love to concentrate on during the wedding for those more relaxed natural portraits - freeing up more time for you to spend with your guests. We find that couples who have a pre-wedding shoot with us get better wedding photographs.

You will also get some amazing photographs one of which you get to chose as part of the session and we can use a selection for an engagement album, bespoke signing books or signing mats, save the date cards, and for some things we would rather show you in person.
