A Fusion of Documentary and Classical Wedding Photography

We like to think that we have a rare style that is a true fusion of documentary wedding photography and classical wedding photography.

No two weddings are the same, nor do we use a rigid formula to capture your images. Depending on your needs, the location and time of year we create a wonderful story of your wedding day. Our primary objective is to capture moments, emotions and natural photography - simply beautiful heartfelt images.

We also know many of you want to record family and friends. We typically shoot a set of formal photographs, after the ceremony consisting of small family and friends groups, once you have had chance to be congratulated! They provide anchor images for the album, create an opportunity for your guests to capture the event, and memories for the more traditional members of your family.

Outside of these formals which normally take between 25 to 40 minutes we additionally shoot pure documentary photography, editorial or fashion wedding photography during some time alone with you both, and those detail shots which provide context to the overall story.

Feedback from clients suggests that this approach allows them to enjoy their wedding day without it becoming a photo-shoot, does not upset or bore their guests and allows us as your photographer to blend in and capture beautiful moments recording your day.
