Meonshore Studios is a Hampshire based photography studio. Working primarily in the areas of portraiture and commercial photography producing high quality images for clients. We also offer a bespoke training and consultancy service to individuals.

Our well established studio is run by a photographer with over 25 years of experience and 10 years as a professional. Having worked with negative film, transparencies and of course digital cameras in 35mm, and medium format (6x6 and 645); Mike has a depth and breadth of understanding of using photographic equipment. He is also expert in the use of computers - specifically image mangement, workflow, post-production, and printing and is a user of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Apple's Aperture and iPhoto.

Located near Stubbington and close to the sea we have a great setting for studio based instruction and learning and we are in the centre of the Hampshire coastline ideally suited to practical shooting sessions at the beach, and close to the New Forest, and Marwell for wildlife and landscapes.

Hampshire Photography Training

Based in Fareham, Hampshire we train individuals all over Hampshire as well as the surrounding counties of West Sussex, Dorset, The New Forest, Berkshire and Surrey.

With over 25 years of experience we are able to train individuals, or companies across a variety of photographic areas including basic camera controls, use fo DLSR cameras, digital photography, film photography, medium format photography, slide film, negative film, and RAW or JPEG formats. We also train people in photographic concepts or rules such as composition, the rule of thirds, seeing an image, exposure, aperture, depth of field, framing an image, photographic techniques such as taking photos in zoos, indoors, or buildings, macro photography, black and white photography, sports photography.

Our experienced photography tutor also performs bespoke consultancy supporting individuals and businesses who wish to validate and indentify equipment needs, including what camera to buy, which lenses to buy, and the use of flashguns and in come cases studio lights. He can also provides critiques and guidance on the level and skill of photography of the student on an amateur basis of the the submission of images for competitions and stock libraries.
