Portrait Photography of Children in Hampshire

From the moment your baby can lift it's head (if not then look at our newborn photography), those first bottom shuffles and steps and right up to before they head of to college or university we photograph your children's portraits.

We love to photograph in natural light but also have a purpose built studio and we'll work with you to get the right style of photography for you. Our priority is to bring out the expressions and essence of your child and, if they have siblings, the relationship between them.

As a father of two young children himself Mike French is used to photographing his own as well as toddlers and children in the Fareham area and our clients often return to document their childs development and major life stages as well as growing families.

During a session we look to capture a selection of images to give you a wide choice in both black and white and colour and the ability to create large wall portraits, montages, and to select some for family members as well. We'll also look to capture more natural images of play as well as those more posed portraits both in the studio and on location.

Hampshire Childrens Portraits

We have been photographing children for as long as we have been professional photographers. From small babies who are just able to lift their heads through toddlers who are sitting up and able to make some basic poses and usually amazing expressions. Older children are often best photographed out on location in an environment where they can play and become less consious of the camera before getting those treasured natural images as well as some portraits once they are used to being photographed.

Whilast we do photograph children in a hi-key, white background style, popularised by Venture we are much more likely to use natural environments and plain backdrops
