I’m shooting Wendy and Martin’s wedding at Marwell Hall later on this year and so this morning we met up at the gates of Marwell Wildlife and headed up to Marwell Hall for their pre-wedding shoot. On the way up we managed to talk a little about Wendy and Martin’s plans for the day and we soon arrived at the Hall which was deserted at this early hour.
Yesterdays wedding was held in the picturesque church of St Cross in Winchester, and then onto New Place in Shedfield. I started at Michelle and Jon’s house where I met Michelle’s parents and the bridesmaids and got some lovely documentary images of Michelle getting ready as well as details of the bridal wear.
We have just photographed a lovely pre-wedding shoot for Sarah and Tom at the Manor Barn in Buriton, Hampshire.
HMS Warrior was the venue for yesterdays Hampshire wedding, and I was looking forward to photographing Debs and Ian’s wedding, and black tie party in the evening. It had been a while since I had worked on HMS Warrior and I was relishing the opportunity to get some lovely images in the Captain’s cabin for the ceremony, the ward room for dinner and Ian’s speech and then on the gun deck for dinner and dancing.
Marwell Hall in the zoo was the setting for our first wedding of this wonderful late summer weekend, and Hampshire was blessed with good weather again this weekend of the year, ideal for wedding photos. Gemma and Dan are a lovely couple and it was great to finally get the opportunity to photograph their wedding.
Saturday was the wedding of Sally and Mark at St John the Baptist in North Baddesley and then on to St Jermyn’s House at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens.

Andrea and Dale had a lovely wedding at Langrish House in Hampshire and we were delighted when they were accepted into the Your Hampshire Wedding of the Year competition. Of the four weddings selected for this issue of the magazine this is the only one we have photographed.

On Sunday afternoon following Rosalind and Matt’s pre-wedding shoot I drove down to the Rhinefield House Hotel in the New Forest where I had been two days earlier for Gemma and Kristian’s wedding.
Today we photographed the wedding of Gemma and Kristian at Rhinefield House in the New Forest. Another stunning wedding, and lovely couple.
So for my first wedding of the year I had the great honour and pleasure of photographing Noelle and Ross’ wedding at the Tithe Barn at Ditcham near Petersfield. A fantastic stone barn which has long been on my list of Hampshire wedding venues that I would love to photograph.
Despite not shooting a wedding for some two months over the winter I quickly got back into the swing of things.
The day started early in Emsworth at the beauty salon, and continued through until late when Ross’ band played to the guests but in between it was a magical story of laughter and tears of joy which I had the opportunity to capture.
This was my first civil partnership and I could not have wished for a more stunning location in Rhinefield House, or such as nice couple as Dale and David. Having only met them about 5 weeks previous to the wedding we had little time to get to know each other but I felt instantly at ease and had a very memorable day.
I photographed a stunning wedding at Lainston House last year and supplied the venue with some shots from the ceremony and wedding breakfast layouts. The room was stunning and the images looked really nice – although I was still surprised to find that Lainston House had decided to use one of them in their advertising for this year.
