Currently all of our wedding packages include a pre-wedding shoot. This shoot is also available to couples who are getting married abroad, and also those who have selected another photographer (or not chosen yet) and who would like some photographs to celebrate their engagement as a separate portrait session. Today whilst out we delivered the pre-wedding shoot framed print for Rosie and Scott who are getting married on New Years Eve and a photograph of the finished product can be seen below.
Rhinefield House was the location for todays pre-wedding shoot with Rosie and Scott who are getting married there later in the year.
Today I photographed Gemma and Dan who get married at Marwell Hall, Hampshire in September. We used both the front and rear of the house for some images of both some classically posed portraits and also some more contemporary images to get them used to being photographed as well as finding some locations they liked for some time alone on the day.
I received my first cover image on a wedding magazine with an image from the “hot walls” and so I was really pleased to be able to take Leanne and Ting down to old Portsmouth for an engagement shoot yesterday and to take a walk around the area encompassing the garrison church, square tower, and towards the historic dockyard.
This afternoon we photographed the pre-wedding shoot of Katy and Rob at the Gate Street Barn in Bramley, Surrey. Once again I was spoiled for choice with the entire exterior of the barn, and the gardens in immaculate condition. With a slightly overcast but bright sky there were no really places we couldn’t shoot and so we quickly got down to the business of making some wonderful images which will provide Katy and Rob with a great reminder of the day and also some practice in being photographed for their wedding which is in a couple of months.
I met up with Sally and Mark at Hillier Gardens in Romsey earlier today for their pre-wedding shoot. The gardens have a big connection with Mark’s family and it was lovely to take some photographs in a place they knew so well.
Tonight I photographed the pre-wedding shoot for Joanna and Adam who are having their wedding at one of my favourite local Hampshire wedding venues; New Place in Shedfield.
Yesterday evening was the pre-wedding shoot for Kirsty and Marco who are getting married this summer. We met at the Potters Heron in a warm evening with some lovely soft light and spent some time in the garden and interior of this hotel and bar in the small village of Ampfield, Hampshire taking some images.
Today we were at Chilworth Manor a lovely Hampshire wedding venue for the pre-wedding shoot of Karen and Tim.
Today was our third photographic session on the bounce and this time it was a pre-wedding shoot for one of our clients who are getting married next month.
Natalie and Stuart are getting married in Bournemouth and have their reception planned for a hotel near the beach which is where we met up for our pre-wedding...
Jo and Michael entered a Your Hampshire Wedding competition towards the end of 2008 which we ran in conjunction with the magazine and were the lucky winners of a complimentary pre-wedding shoot either at their wedding venue or at a south-Hampshire location. Well having waited until the weather picked up we arranged to meet up in Lyndhurst this evening for their session.
Yesterday was our first pre-wedding shoot of the year and the amazing Haw frost helped to blow away the Christmas cobwebs as we prepare for another busy Hampshire wedding photography season. Andrea and Dale are getting married at Langrish House later in the Spring and we’ll be hoping for some lovely weather and warmth at this lovely country house hotel.
Sunday’s shoot was for Joanna and Graham, who will be getting married in Marwell Zoo in Hampshire at the Hall in August. On a bright, and warm day we ventured up to the lovely Marwell Hall and got some lovely images in preparation of their wedding photography and then headed back to the Marwell Hotel for a drink and a talk through the details for the day.
On Wednesday evening I spent some time with Beata and Justin at Chilworth Manor in Southampton for their pre-wedding shoot.
I made the trip to both the church and reception venue for Philippa and Alistair’s wedding today with a view of getting a good look around as both of the venues are new to me, and then also to meet up with Philippa and Alistair for their pre-wedding shoot and detailed planning meeting. Both were stunning…….
