This afternoon I headed into Southampton for a location maternity portrait or “bump session” with Rushika and Lashan at their Hampshire home.
Using two rooms in their house, and with the majority of the images shot in natural light using features of the house as backdrops we quickly and painlessly captured some beautiful images.
Well I just got back from the Hampshire Baby & Toddler Show in Southampton. The show started very busily, and the large cruise centre terminal filled with prams, toddlers, expectant woman and friends, dads, husbands, partners and parents. Our stand drew lots of admiring glances, and wonderful comments and we spoke to lots of people...
Baby Hampshire magazine have used some of our images to illustrate an article on travel routines. Found in the summer issue, on sale from the 15th May for 3 months, the article is on pages 138 – 140.
This afternoon I spent some time with Kirsty and her lovely family at their farm in Hampshire for some location maternity portraits. I met Kirsty at the Hampshire Baby and Toddler Show back in October of 2010 when she visited our stand showcasing our fine art newborn portraits, and fell in love with them. We have kept in touch during her pregnancy and arranged this week to take some bump photographs, and were blessed with some warm spring weather.
