Marwell Reptiles

I don't often get to post much personal work on here, but as we are not in the full swing of the wedding season I thought I might drop some personal images in, although this may well have more relevance later in the year once we have updated the Meonshore Studios site. I managed to spend a couple of hours at Marwell this week, and whilst most photographers and a whole infants school of children were hanging out at the Amur leopards enclosure trying to get a peek of the new baby I headed off to the reptile house in the new Australian Biome at the far end of the park.

Focus On Imaging exhibition at the NEC

This time I have just arrived back from FOCUS - the largest of the UK trade shows this one held up in the NEC near Birmingham. Less of a professional show this event also attracts thousands of amateur photographers and so picking a day, and a time to arrive is always key to ensure you get what you want done, and not just get lost in the crowds and queues.

We had a great day at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel on Sunday (5th January). We spoke to lots of great couples, and brides to be with friends, or parents about their weddings which made the 8 hours on our feet enjoyable to say the least.

Well we arrived back in Fareham after a long day at the wedding fayre in the Guildhall Portsmouth in the early evening and really needed a sit-down after unpacking the display stands, prints, albums and other materials we took with us.

Portsmouth News - Tuesday Wedding Fair Special

Tuesday (tomorrow) is the issue of the News (Portsmouth local newspaper) which will contain the pull-out for the Guildhall Wedding Fair (Fayre) which will take place on the 14th October 2007. Meonshore Weddings will be exhibiting on stand 52 (right hand side of the main area) and we will be featuring some new items, and launching a new fine art range of wall portraits, and our new brochures will be available. More about these later in the week.
