On Sunday we stayed in Hampshire for a portrait session at Holly Hill woods in Fareham. Having postponed the session for 24 hours because of shocking weather on the Saturday I arrived at Holly Hill early and met up with a lovely family for their portrait photographs.
We took a walk down into the woods and found some good spots taking advantage of the autumnal weather and the sea of leaves on the woodland floor. I captured a mixure of informal and relaxed portraits as we walked around the lakes picking some of the best spots before the littlest member of the family ran out of puff and we called it a day and headed back to the car park.
Here are some of the images from the session.

Playing in the autumn leaves during the location portrait session in Hampshire

I love the motion and the little ones expression in this image

The backdrop of autumn leaves set of this location portrait image, giving a sense of when the images were taken as well

Lovely light at the bride in this Hampshire wood made for a great spot for this family group portrait
Vouchers are available as gifts for location portrait sessions, and whilst the weather is turning and the nights are drawing in it is still possible to book a session and have photographs before Christmas. In fact we will be doing another session this coming Saturday down at the beach.
