Kalm Kitchen Caterers: Images from a Gate Street Barn wedding

On Sunday I had the great pleasure to work with Kalm Kitchen Caterers from Guildford at the Gate Street Barn for the wedding of Katy and Rob. It is rare for me to single out another company I have worked with at a venue, and my blog post about the wedding which is on it’s way will cover the excellent venue, florist and DJ as well. However Kalm Kitchen were exceptional on the day and I just wanted to call them out for it.

Well organised, swift, and professional the staff politely and carefully worked through the guests ensuring that they had full glasses and enough canapes as well as getting some to Katy and Rob the bride and groom knowing that they would be the centre of attention and less likely to eat, and drink.

Of course it would be remiss of me not to declare that I was fed during the wedding breakfast – served just after the guests on a table outside while I checked my images and got some more establishing shots of the barn, but it also means I had first hand experience of the food which was exceptional. The lamb was “to die for” to quote Chris the DJ and I heartily agree with him but there was little between that and the fishcake for an entree and the chocolate brownie and honeycomb ice-cream for dessert.

So having said that here are some images I captured of the Kalm Kitchen team in action, and of the lovely food. Don’t look any further if you are hungry !

The lamb course so good it warrants another viewpoint to show off the dauphinoise potatoe as well as the carrots and brocolli, my Kalm Kitchen favourite (so far !)
