I met up with Sally and Mark at Hillier Gardens in Romsey earlier today for their pre-wedding shoot. The gardens have a big connection with Mark’s family and it was lovely to take some photographs in a place they knew so well. We started with a hot drink, and a chat to work through the details of their wedding day later in the year and then with no sign of the drizzle abating we ventured out into the lush gardens to capture some lovely images of the two of them both as a practice for the big day and also to get some memorable images which can be used for the wedding itself.
We started in an oak shelter down by the pond and moved past some big architectural planting to a beautiful spot near Jermyn’s House (which incidentally had a wedding taking place in it at the time), having captured some great images we walked back to the visitors centre and finished off before leaving just as the gardens closed for the night.
As usual here are some images from the day… more after the jump.
