We have just completed a commercial project with a local residential care home to create some photographs for their new website.
Chesterholm Lodge approached us a short while ago as they were re-building their website and needed up to date professional photography to showcase the interiors and exteriors of the property as well as capturing a business portrait of the staff and some of the residents activities. We also went on location and captured some images from the surrounding area to place the property in the context of it’s environment.
You can view more of the images on their own site but here are some with some details.
The exterior of the care home was photographed from several angles to show the size, and position. Critically important to get the right scale, and also perspective – particularly when photographing buildings at this angle. Use of a professional architectural lens allowed for the correction of the perspective and to reduce the foreground to that of the property.

A business portrait of the staff at the Lodge, looking professional and formal but relaxed at the same time

As well as the exteriors some interior photography was required to show both the common areas and personal rooms. Again a professional architectural lens was used to correct the perspective and verticals although with interiors of this nature experience in placement of the camera and angles used reduces the need for extensive correction.

We would be delighted to talk to other Hampshire residential homes, or indeed other property owners, architects, and estate agencies about creating commercial images for both web, brochure and wider advertising usage as well as corporate marketing.
