Although not an everyday occurrence we sometimes get a portrait enquiry which is a little out of the ordinary. Typically for the same reason. In Germany when applying for a job it is almost always a requirement to present an image of yourself with or on your CV or job application. In the UK not so much, but there are many other reasons for needing a high quality portrait image of yourself for applications or online uses.
Now you might take a risk with a passport image for your passport, but it isn’t always the most flattering and whilst it could last you 10 years a job could be for much longer – and the image could be more critical for you !
So tonight we photographed a soon to be ex-military portrait client who’s sole purpose for the images was for this job application. We quickly setup a more formal backdrop and got some images in a business suit, and smart casual over about a 20 minute period and will be displaying them on our only gallery system with an image download option (price included in the session fee).
Now all he has to do is pick the image for the application, download it, insert it into the online CV, and there is nothing more to do.
