When my son told my wife that he wanted to get me a camera for Father’s Day it was a lovely moment, that was until I realised he doesn’t have the £4500 in his piggy bank for a Nikon D3X. So as a surprise instead I was presented with this lovely cake on the Sunday made by one of our portrait clients, and of course talented cake maker.
I can happily report it is delicious, and as you would expect focuses more accurately than the Canon 1D MKIII (which were replaced by the Nikon D3s in our wholesale brand switch at the end of last year) despite being comprised of sponge and icing……
Unfortunately I won’t be able to use it at our next wedding which is on the 4th July in Hampshire as it will have been eaten up we will have to go to the real ones for the photography on the day
