Dorset Wedding Photography: Natalie and Stuart at St George’s and the Riviera Hotel

Saturdays wedding was a trip across the border into Dorset for the first time this year and a cracking wedding in and around Bournemouth.

The day started bright and early in Salon 1336 with Natalie, her bridemaids and the two mums having hair and make-up done. After a short trip to photograph the dress (which was stunning) and shoes it was on to the church to meet up with the guys for some pre-wedding photographs and get my position sorted for the ceremony. No sooner had the girls arrived in a lovely black Bentley Natalie pulled up in the horse and carriage and it was time to get into the church.

Positioned at the front, and to the grooms side (my preferred location) I got some lovely images from the ceremony, and also naturally photographed the signing as The Funky Little Choir Co – who were excellent – sang.

While the horse and carriage made the journey to the Riviera Hotel at Alum Chine I covered the interior of the wedding breakfast room and got my detail shots as well as speaking to the town crier who was going to welcome the bride and groom on arrival. After the horses received an apple for their hard work we quickly got some family photographs done and then the receiving line before dinner was served. After the speeches Natalie and Stuart came out for some time alone with me down on the beachfront where we got some lovely relaxed portraits and something a little more fashion oriented as well before we returned for the last few groups of friends and their first dance.

Thanks to the hotel for looking after me and being a little flexible with timings and to Natalie and Stuart for allowing me to be part of their lovely wedding.

Here are some images from the day. The full gallery will be live shortly and guests were provided with gallery details on personalised cards at their tables.
