PR and Event Photography for Lee-on-the-Solent tennis club – Open Day 2009

Exhibition tennis photography: Pat Cash vs Chris Wilkinson

At the open day of the Lee-on-the-Solent tennis club the main attraction was an exhibition tennis match between club director of tennis Chris Wilkinson and the 1987 Wimbledon champion Pat Cash. Chris played Pat at the same event last year and this year I was fortunate enough to have court side access for the match in my role as official photographer for the event.

We just moved the blog !

have just moved the location of this blog from our meonshoreweddings.co.uk site to our meonshorestudios.co.uk site as part of a revamp across our entire website portfolio. The blog is a diary of the work that we do across weddings, portraits and commercial work and as such didn’t really fit in our specialist weddings site.

Andrea and Dale’s wedding at Langrish House could be the wedding of the year 2009

Subject to final editorial control and confirmation we believe that Andrea and Dale’s Hampshire wedding which we photographed in March this year has been shortlisted to feature in the next issue of Your Hampshire Wedding magazine. As entrants of the wedding of the year competition they stand to win a fabulous prize of some accommodation at New Place in Shirrell Heath near Southampton – where we have a wedding to photograph this August.

Pre-wedding shoot in Bournemouth, Dorset

Today was our third photographic session on the bounce and this time it was a pre-wedding shoot for one of our clients who are getting married next month.

Your Hampshire Wedding – Pre-wedding shoot competition winners

Jo and Michael entered a Your Hampshire Wedding competition towards the end of 2008 which we ran in conjunction with the magazine and were the lucky winners of a complimentary pre-wedding shoot either at their wedding venue or at a south-Hampshire location. Well having waited until the weather picked up we arranged to meet up in Lyndhurst this evening for their session.

Location Portrait Session – Hill Head, Hampshire

Today I photographed a lovely family on the beach at Hill Head near Fareham in Hampshire. Unlike a studio portrait session the location session allows me to get to know the family and then drop into documentary mode as they enjoy themselves and by the time we get to some more directed and posed portraits I’m known and accepted.
