Saturday was our first wedding of the year and it took place in the lovely village of Langrish just outside of Petersfield. With the ceremony being conducted in the beautiful St John’s Church and the preparations and reception happening at Langrish House a very short distance away.
Having done our pre-wedding shoot with Andrea and Dale during a haw frost todays weather was completely different with a short hail storm, a little rain, and the rest of the day blessed with warm sunshine ! With the support of the staff at Langrish and Peter Craft, the toastmaster we worked efficiently through the groups both inside and out and delivered everyone to the receiving line in time.
My coverage started with Andrea in one of the rooms at Langrish House where make-up and hair took place, and the bridemaids were prepped as well, Andrea had her bouquet delivered before I left, a stunning arrangement from Heavenly Scent. After the short trip to the church where I touched base with the vicar for the ceremony I got images of the guys, and arrivals before the horse and carriage arrived with the bridesmaids and then went back for the bride. Andrea arrived in beautiful sunshine and quickly moved into the church where the ceremony took place.
We ducked the showers on the way back out, and the torrential hail storm that followed and then captured some relaxed family photographs both outside with blue skies arriving and in the drawing room before spending some time with Andrea and Dale in the grounds.
After dinner it was time for speeches and I left shortly afterwards to transfer my images and take a look. Here are some that I pulled out from the day (more after the jump). Family and guests can see them all from around 10th April in the gallery – you should have a card from the wedding with the details. If not please contact me.
I hope you like them:
