Welcome to the Meonshore Studios Blog

Hi my name is Mike French, and I'm a Fareham - Hampshire based photographer, and the owner of Meonshore Studios, a family run business. I'm passionate about my photography, and running the studio and I like to think this shows in the way I interact with my clients and of course in the images I create.

I adore shooting fine art newborn portraits, capturing little babies for their first professional photograph. I also love creating portraits showing families growing together and the creative but critical commercial work. For personal work I shoot sport, and wildlife predominately

Meonshore Studios

Meonshore Studios is based in Fareham, Hampshire and covers clients all over the UK and beyond. We specialize in fine art newborn portraits of babies between 3 and 15 days of age, and location family portraits. These are most likely to be taken in Hampshire in the studio or on location and of course we travel anywhere for our commercial clients.

This blog is the diary of the studio and contains a mixture of the work that we do - we have dedicated websites for our different types of photography.

Party For Life Charity Ball at Norton Park Hotel, Hampshire for Cancer Research UK

Last night we covered the Party for Life charity ball at Norton Park for Cancer Reasearch UK.

The organiser, Amanda, is one of our portrait clients and asked if we could print on the night to enable guests coming to the ball to have some lovely memento images – and of course we were happy to oblige. Set-up in the lobby of the hotel were were taking images from 7pm until after 11pm of couples and groups of friends and immediately being able to print them off with our sophisticated wireless transfer setup and event station.

We also donated a lifestyle portrait session to the raffle and look forward to hearing from the lucky winner who will receive a location portrait session in Hampshire and £100 credit towards any prints and framed products they decide to purchase.

During a couple of short lulls we managed to get down to the dining area and get some images of the room and the guests enjoying themselves, as well as catch up with excellent toastmaster Alexander Michaels (Pav) who we worked with recently at a Hampshire wedding in September.
